FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a complete engine?

A complete engine is an engine that includes the block, injection, turbo, and distribution, ensuring a faster and more reliable assembly.

What is the difference between used auto parts and rebuilt parts?

The used auto parts we sell are original, without any adjustments made, often coming from cars with very few kilometers. Rebuilt parts are used parts that are recovered with manual repairs and replacement with white label parts.

What warranty do the parts have?

All of our parts come with a warranty. Engines and gearboxes have a warranty of up to 1 year, while the remaining parts have a functioning warranty. All engine and gearbox warranties are listed on the invoice. The functioning warranty period is 15 days from the day of receipt of the part.

What is the process if there is a problem with the part?

If you have a problem with the purchased part – and it is within the warranty period – you should inform us, send the part back to our facilities, and we will send a replacement part. If we do not have a replacement part in stock, we will refund the cost of the part, provided it is returned in the same condition it was sent and without being tampered with.

Where can I confirm the engine reference?

Usually, the reference is engraved on the engine block. Depending on the brand, it may be a numerical or alphanumeric reference.

How are the parts shipped?

They are shipped through a carrier, usually CTT Express. If it is being shipped to Madeira or the Azores, it is necessary that the part is delivered to a freight forwarder in Perafita, Matosinhos, after being shipped by CTT Express. The boats usually leave on Fridays, arriving at the destination/address on Mondays.
For the Spanish islands (Ceuta, Melilla, Balearic Islands, and Canaries), please consult the additional shipping cost.

Can I track my part at any time?

Yes. When you complete your purchase, you will receive an email with your order number and shipping guide. With this number, on the CTT Express website, you can always know the location of your part. Follow it until it arrives at your home, mechanic, or any other address you have defined.
